Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the Customer Care Contact team in the Business Performance domain in Nantes, France. You will build AI-powered tools powering Doctolib Assistant to support doctors and medical staff with accurate, safe automation.

You will collaborate with data scientists, design evaluation pipelines, ensure privacy and security by design, and own observability, SLO/SLI dashboards, and end-to-end features across a cloud-native stack.

Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering with hands-on AI/ML experience.
2+ years of Python experience.
Experience with the full lifecycle of an AI product from evaluation to production.
Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Proficient in full-stack development using React/TypeScript/Kotlin.
Product-oriented with ability to guide teammates and balance business and technical needs.
Fluent in English in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

Design, ship, and operate production-grade agentic systems powering Doctolib Assistant.
Build and improve AI agents and orchestration systems.
Collaborate with data scientists to design evaluation pipelines and guardrails.
Develop core agentic capabilities including memory, reasoning, tool adapters, and multi-agent coordination.
Own performance, observability, and security with dashboards, SLO/SLI.
Ensure privacy and security by design for medical data.
Contribute to fullstack development when needed.
