Doctolib is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the Patient team in Paris to design production search and recommendation architectures, leveraging vector search, RAG and LLM-based rerankers.

You will collaborate with ML engineers, PMs and SWEs to ship AI-powered features, ensure low latency, observability, and maintainability across the platform.

The role offers a cloud-native stack and a chance to impact healthcare access across Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping search or recommendation systems to production.
• Strong understanding of retrieval pipelines (ranking, reranking).
• Familiarity with embeddings, vector search and LLM-based components.
• Ability to design end-to-end AI systems with monitoring and observability.
• Healthcare domain knowledge (GDPR/HDS) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design production search & recommendation architecture (retrieval, ranking, reranking).
• Establish baselines (prompts, RAG, model selection) before custom ML.
• Build evaluation and observability into offline and online processes.
• Set up data/event feedback loops to enable iterative improvements.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers, PMs and SWEs to ship AI features.
