Job summary

Mirakl is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design, build and scale production-grade AI systems at the intersection of Software Engineering, ML, and Generative AI. You will work on agentic commerce capabilities powering Mirakl customers and internal teams, with a permanent CDI in Paris or Bordeaux, and a 4-days-on-site model.

The annual gross salary range is €65,000–€85,000; final offer based on experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, ML Engineering, Applied AI, or related fields.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building production AI systems using LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• Experience designing multi-step agentic workflows and retrieval systems.
• Experience evaluating AI systems and improving model performance.
• Experience deploying and operating production services in cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Curiosity, pragmatism, and passion for building AI products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems for Mirakl internal operations.
• Leverage LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Multimodal AI and evaluation frameworks.
• Architect complex agentic workflows with tools, memory, retrieval, planning, guardrails.
• Prototype new capabilities and evolve them into scalable AI production systems.
• Connect AI systems to internal platforms, data sources, and business apps.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and maintainability across the AI stack.
• Partner with users and teams to identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Run pilots, gather feedback, and measure business impact.
