Job summary

Coface seeks an experienced Senior Data & AI Engineer to lead scalable data pipelines and enterprise AI projects. You will work with Business Information teams to deliver LLM-powered applications, RAG solutions, and AI agents while ensuring security and responsible AI standards.

The role emphasizes deployment and integration of AI into enterprise environments, not model training from scratch. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in software or data engineering; 2+ years with AI/LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with robust data pipelines experience.
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support AI, analytics, and BI initiatives.
• Build and deploy AI-powered solutions using LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
• Architect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases.
• Develop intelligent AI agents and multi-agent systems with advanced prompt engineering and LangChain tooling.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications via APIs and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate AI-related risks; implement guardrails and responsible AI practices.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and AI governance throughout the lifecycle of AI solutions.
• Leverage business information domains to design practical AI solutions for corporate, financial, and risk data.
• Optimize AI workloads for performance, cost, latency, and token efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders and document architecture and standards.
