Job summary

Shift Technology is seeking an AI Architect to define the overarching technical vision for its agentic AI platform in Paris. You’ll align engineering squads, drive scalable architectures, and ensure robust, auditable, and secure deployments.

You will work with data scientists, engineers, and leadership to shape the next generation of agent-first AI in a high-visibility role. You will lead design decisions across MCP, RAG pipelines, vector databases, embedding strategies, and observability while

Qualifications

• Senior technical leader with production system design skills in enterprise cloud environments (Azure).
• Experience with agentic AI ecosystems, RAG architectures, and MCP.
• Strong API design, containerization, and IaC practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical architecture for Shift’s agentic AI ecosystem.
• Lead production AI services architecture to scale AI agents.
• Guide engineering and design, enforcing standards and alignment with system design.
• Optimize model performance, latency, and compute budget governance.
• Integrate emerging standards (MCP, MCP, RAG patterns) into the production stack.
• Ensure governance, security, and observability (LLMOps) of AI deployments.
