Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Senior Agents Platform Engineer to join the ML Platform (TIGER) team in AI & Machine Learning. You will build a shared agent runtime, a unified GenAI gateway, and the observability/evaluation infrastructure to enable safe, scalable agents across Europe.

You will own reliability, guardrails, and progressive rollout for prompts and models, while ensuring compliance with health data standards. Paris-based, hybrid work, start as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with production experience in LLM-based agent systems.
• Experience with agent interoperability and tool protocols (MCP, A2A, AG-UI).
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the agent manifest and registry - design a single declarative specification wiring new agents into the platform automatically.
• Own the GenAI gateway end to end - manage routing, failover, metering, and guardrails across self-hosted and managed providers.
• Operate infrastructure for long-running, streaming agent interactions with SSE/WebSocket, queuing, retries, and sandboxed execution.
• Build feature-flagged, progressive rollout for prompts, models, and configs with audit trails.
• Own reliability for the agents platform end to end - define SLOs, on-call, and runbooks including provider failover.
• Build observability and evaluation layer - traces, logs, offline evals, and health data audit trails.
• Validate the platform by shipping reference agents before product teams adopt it.
