Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Executive, Accounts (Accounts Payable) to manage day-to-day payables, invoices, and reconciliations. You will drive timely processing, support month-end closures, and ensure compliance with policies.

The role requires at least 5 years in accounting/auditing, autonomy, and strong MS Excel/ERP skills to resolve discrepancies and improve payment processes in a multinational finance setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or professional qualification in finance/accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting and auditing field.
• Ability to work independently and is highly adaptable with a good attitude.
• Proficient in MS applications especially MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely processing of accounting transactions with high accuracy.
• Ensure timely issuance of invoices, prepare collection report and work closely with business teams on all unpaid or past due invoices.
• Perform reconciliation and coordinate with relevant parties to investigate and resolve the differences/issues.
• Support bank reconciliation, ensure all costs and expenses are tracked diligently.
• Work closely with Business/Operations, HQ finance, and Finance Operations team in setting up process flows and reports.
• Checking the completeness and accuracy of information and reports.
• Assist in month end closing and prepare meaningful financial disclosures.
• Ensure accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies are followed.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agent and company secretary on related matters.
• Leading and managing small teams.
• Provide efficient support for day-to-day office and administrative tasks.
• Responsible for annual statutory audit process and local statutory compliance submissions for entities
• Ensure timely year-end statutory audit and tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure timely submission of monthly financial statements and management reports
• Participate in continuous improvements on processes
• Perform other ad hoc assignments as requested.
