Job summary

Harmattan AI is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to own the supplier-to-payment cycle across its entities. You will strengthen controls, optimize processes, and partner with Finance, Procurement, and cost center managers as volumes grow.

Responsibilities include invoice processing, three-way matching, SEPA and international payments, and driving AP automation while ensuring French accounting compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of accounts payable experience in industrial or high-growth environments.
• Full AP cycle knowledge: invoicing, matching, payments, reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting rules and VAT; intra-EU and import transactions.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel; AP automation familiarity.
• Rigor, accuracy, and strong internal controls.
• Fluent French and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Own the full supplier-to-payment cycle from invoice receipt to payment.
• Perform three-way matching and resolve mismatches with Procurement and Operations.
• Prepare and validate SEPA and international payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to supplier payment queries and verify bank details.
• Improve invoice capture, approvals, workflows, and reporting; drive AP automation.
• Maintain internal controls and fraud prevention in AP processes.
• Document records and procedures for audits and French accounting compliance.
