Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Global Director – Accounts Payable to lead the worldwide Procure-to-Pay function. This role manages AP, procurement operations, and process governance across multiple countries and entities, aligning legacy practices to global standards.

You will drive automation, strengthen controls, and deliver reliable reporting, while collaborating with Legal, Tax, Treasury, IT, and Operations to sustain operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in procurement, AP, P2P, shared services, or finance leadership.
• Global experience across multiple countries/entities.
• Strong P2P lifecycle knowledge: onboarding, PO, invoicing, payment, expense.
• Experience with ERP, procurement platforms, workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Procure-to-Pay operations across countries and entities.
• Establish global policies, governance, and performance metrics.
• Strengthen controls over vendor data, approvals, and payments.
• Drive centralization, standardization, and automation of processes.
• Oversee systems, OCR, P2P workflows, and T&E integrations.
• Manage shared services performance and service levels.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with Legal, Tax, IT, and Operations.
• Support acquisition integration of procurement and AP processes.
