As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in developing strategic client relationships and contributing to the international growth of a leading digital marketplace connecting companies with consulting firms and independent experts.
This role is built around three main pillars: strategy & management, business development, and client relationship management.
Your Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Unit Development
- Build and drive the commercial strategy for your Business Unit (account mapping, opportunity prioritization, development of new entities, and opening new accounts).
- Analyze the positioning of clients and partners in line with market trends.
- Drive the growth and profitability of your business scope by monitoring business objectives, commercial performance, and KPIs.
- Identify and structure short-, medium-, and long-term growth opportunities.
Business Development & Client Relationship Management
- Proactively prospect new clients to identify strategic business opportunities.
- Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Support clients in sourcing consulting expertise and staffing their projects through the marketplace.
- Ensure the successful follow-up of ongoing assignments, client satisfaction, and the development of existing accounts.
- Build long‑term relationships with consulting firms and freelance experts while maximizing partner retention.
Visibility & Leadership
- Represent your Business Unit by organizing or participating in client and partner events.
- In the longer term, manage, coach, and support the development of junior Account Managers by overseeing their activity, developing their skills, and supporting their commercial growth.
About You
- Master's degree from a Business School, Engineering School, or University.
- Strong ability to define a commercial strategy and translate it into operational actions.
- Proven commercial achievements with measurable business results.
- Solid expertise in Account Management, Business Development, or Business Engineering, with a good understanding of the consulting and professional services market.
- Initial experience in project management and client portfolio management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership, and excellent adaptability.
- Looking for an environment offering autonomy, impact, and teamwork.
- Fluent in French and English; a third language is a plus.
- Experience in the technology sector, software industry, digital platforms, or international business is appreciated.
Nice to Have
- Previous management experience, ideally leading sales teams.
- Knowledge of the transportation and/or defense sectors, or an existing client network within these industries.
