IC Resources' French client is seeking a Semiconductor Product Engineering Lead to oversee the test floor operations, ensure efficient production testing, equipment reliability, and quality compliance. You will manage daily test activities, coordinate with operators and supply chain, lead a small team, and drive improvements while maintaining safety and a collaborative environment.

The role requires 5+ years in back-end/test environments and familiarity with Teradyne/Advantest/Cohu platforms,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in semiconductor back-end/test environments
• Experience managing or operating a semiconductor test floor
• Strong knowledge of handlers, probers, wafer sort, and final test methodologies
• Familiarity with ATE platforms such as Teradyne, Advantest, or Cohu
• Knowledge of Semics Opus3 and Multitest handlers is a plus

Our French based client is currently searching for a Semiconductor Product Engineering Lead to manage the test floor operations and product engineering activities, ensuring efficient production testing, equipment reliability, quality compliance, and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities

Test Floor Operations

• Manage daily semiconductor test activities (ATE, wafer probing, final/package test)
• Coordinate production schedules with operators, engineers, and supply chain
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, calibration, and setup of test equipment (handlers, probers, testers)
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance plans
• Define production acceptance criteria
• Analyze production/yield data and generate reports using EDA tools
• Lead and develop a small team of technicians and production operators
• Support training and skills development
• Maintain a safe and collaborative work environment

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with JEDEC, AEC-Q100/Q101, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ESD, and cleanroom standards
• Monitor KPIs such as yield, cycle time, and equipment uptime
• Drive process and test floor improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and test procedures

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Engineering degree or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years in semiconductor back-end/test environments (IDM, foundry, or OSAT)
• Experience managing or operating a semiconductor test floor
• Strong knowledge of handlers, probers, wafer sort, and final test methodologies
• Familiarity with ATE platforms such as Teradyne, Advantest, or Cohu
• Knowledge of Semics Opus3 and Multitest handlers is a plus
