IC Resources is seeking an experienced ATE/Wafer Test Engineer to lead the development and qualification of wafer-level test capabilities as we move toward pre-qualification and future volume production.

You will own test infrastructure for III-V photonic devices, coordinating across equipment, probe cards, test hardware and software to scale from R&D to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in wafer test, ATE or semiconductor test engineering.
• Strong Python or similar programming skills for test automation and data acquisition.

Responsabilités

• Lead evaluation, RFQ and qualification of a 300mm-capable wafer prober.
• Develop wafer-level electrical and optical test methods for parametric and PIC-specific testing.
• Specify and coordinate probe cards, interface boards and test hardware for electrical, RF and optical measurements.
• Own test-program development and data-acquisition architecture, evolving R&D setups towards volume ATE.
• Develop test limits, guard bands and screening strategies using device characterisation data.
• Work with foundries, test teams and equipment suppliers through development and pre-qualification runs.
• Translate manufacturing requirements into scalable wafer-test solutions.

We’re looking for an experienced ATE / Wafer Test Engineer to lead the development and qualification of a wafer-level test capability as our client moves from technology development towards pre-qualification and future volume production.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of the test infrastructure for III-V photonic devices, working across equipment, probe cards, test hardware, software and manufacturing.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the technical evaluation, RFQ and qualification of a 300mm-capable wafer prober
• Develop wafer-level electrical and optical test methods for parametric and PIC-specific testing
• Specify and coordinate probe cards, interface boards and test hardware for electrical, RF and optical measurements
• Own test-program development and data-acquisition architecture, evolving R&D setups towards volume ATE
• Develop test limits, guard bands and screening strategies using device characterisation data
• Work closely with foundries, test teams and equipment suppliers through development and pre-qualification runs
• Translate manufacturing requirements into practical, scalable wafer-test solutions

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands‑on experience in wafer test, ATE or semiconductor test engineering
• Experience specifying, commissioning or operating wafer probers
• A strong understanding of probe interfaces and semiconductor manufacturing test flows
• Experience with ATE platforms and/or custom electrical/optical test benches
• Experience supporting technology transfer, foundry qualification or pre‑qualification
• Strong Python or similar programming skills for test automation, data acquisition and analysis
• A practical, hands‑on approach and the ability to work across devices, hardware, software and manufacturing
