Job summary

Hytera in Paris seeks a pre-sales technical consultant to qualify opportunities, design solutions, and support bid/tender efforts in PMR, POC, and BWC domains. You will configure and test radios, body cameras, and dispatching software for demonstrations and trials.

You will train partners, present to end-users, and develop expertise in Hytera infrastructure and products while building strong technical relationships to support system design, specification, and validation.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Electronic Engineering.
• Hands-on exposure to PMR (DMR/TETRA), POC and/or BWC technologies.
• Familiar with French market verticals and tender processes.
• Excellent communication in French and English.

Job description

1. Provide pre-sales technical consultancy/support, including technical qualification of opportunities, solution design, and bid/tender expertise — with a focus on PMR, POC, and BWC solutions.

2. Configure and test systems and terminal equipment (radios, body cameras, dispatching&command software) for demonstrations, trials, and POC deployments.

3. Provide technical training to partners and produce training documentation.

4. Represent Hytera at trade shows and exhibitions; deliver presentations to partners and end-users.

5. Develop expert knowledge of Hytera infrastructure, terminal products; keep up to date with new releases.

6. Build and maintain strong technical relationships with partners; support them in system design, specification, and validation.

7. Take ownership of tasks/projects and proactively see these through to completion.

Person Specification:

1. Strong in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.

2. Proven experience in the private network / critical communications industry, with hands-on exposure to PMR (DMR/TETRA), POC, and/or BWC technologies.

3. Familiarity with French market verticals (public safety, transport, utilities, security) and local tender processes.

4. Excellent communication skills in French and English; ability to build strong relationships with partners, key accounts, and internal stakeholders.

5. Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.

6. Strong planning and project management skills. Customer-centric with a track record of high customer satisfaction.
