Your mission as a Senior Account Executive ? Drive transformative outcomes for the world’s biggest brands—together.

Responsibilities
  • Determinedly drive and manage the Basware software sales life cycle from lead generation, pipeline building, forecasting, and closing net new accounts in the region for companies with annual revenue greater than $1bn
  • Putting full focus on demonstrating solution value, and how Basware helps customers meet their strategic objectives by identifying key business drivers and developing compelling points of view to drive executive level conversations and decisions
  • Be a Customer Advisor to drive automation at the CFO office
  • Consistently achieve quota with a significant opportunity for overachievement
  • Systematically build and manage an opportunity pipeline large enough to reach revenue targets
  • Work collaboratively with the broader sales, solution value consulting, customer success, professional services, BDRs and marketing teams to systematically develop sales opportunities
  • Develop and manage regional marketing and lead generation activities within the overall marketing framework
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS solution sales, ideally with a focus on financial systems, spend management, invoice automation, or related domains
  • A track record of delivering meaningful outcomes for large customers through a consultative, value-based sales approach
  • Strong customer-facing skills and executive presence, with the ability to build credibility and trust at C-level within enterprise accounts
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional virtual teams, setting a vision and driving coordinated execution across internal stakeholders (Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Services, Marketing, etc.) and external partners (GSIs, consulting firms)
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders (Finance, Procurement, IT, etc.)
  • A self-starter who takes accountability for your own success, but who passionately drives the supporting organization to create the conditions for that success
  • Awareness of artificial intelligence concepts, tools, or applications is considered a strong asset. We highly value candidates who demonstrate curiosity, a proactive mindset and a willingness to explore and incorporate AI-driven technologies into their work.
