Job summary

Dow Jones in Paris (preferred) or Brussels region seeks a Sales Specialist for Risk & Compliance to lead the full sales cycle and build a regional pipeline. You will drive revenue with new clients, upsell within existing accounts, and collaborate with global teams to position Dow Jones Risk & Compliance solutions.

The role requires fluency in French and English, a proven BD track record, and willingness to travel extensively across Europe to win new business and strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications

• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
• Experience selling information and/or compliance tools to senior decision-makers.
• Proven track record of strong business development and pipeline generation.
• Ability to maintain high activity levels for pipeline growth.
• Ability to drive new business opportunities and upsell within a team environment.
• Strong influencing skills to gain agreement and advance deals.
• Able to articulate customer issues and align solutions accordingly.
• Capable of handling multiple activities and reprioritizing to meet revenue goals.
• Willingness to undertake extensive overseas travel.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue for the Risk & Compliance business across the region through new clients and cross-selling.
• Devise and execute business development plans to find new prospects and opportunities.
• Exceed sales targets and KPIs associated with the role.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure across the region.
• Lead campaigns and campaigns to develop successful opportunities.
• Participate in and lead the sales process.
• Engage with regulators and thought leaders across the region.
• Speak at industry events and educate internal teams about market dynamics.
• Collaborate with sales to implement territory business plans and growth opportunities.
• Contribute to proposals, statements of work, or technical documents as needed.
