IDEMIA Public Security recrute des chercheurs pour couvrir toutes les facettes de la recherche scientifique: collecte de données, modélisation, implémentation et publication d’articles ou brevets, avec des méthodes bayésiennes, apprentissage automatique et vision par ordinateur.

Le poste est basé à Osny (95) près de Cergy et propose un cadre stimulant, du mentorat pour les débutants et des défis techniques pour les experts, en collaboration avec les équipes opérationnelles et les environnements

Qualifications

• Diplôme de doctorat ou d'ingénieur requis.
• Première expérience significative en traitement d'image, vision par ordinateur et apprentissage profond.
• Solide formation en mathématiques et analyse de données.
• Maîtrise de Python; connaissance de C/C++ appréciée.
• Capacité à gérer de grandes quantités de données en recherche.
• Connaissance de biométrie appréciée.
• Curieux, proactif, autonome.
• Orientation résultats et solutions.
• Bonne communication en français et en anglais.

Responsabilités

• Étudier et développer des algorithmes de pointe.
• Optimiser les algorithmes.
• Mesurer et analyser les performances.
• Veille technologique et état de l'art de la recherche.
• Apporter une expertise pour résoudre les problèmes et battre les benchmarks.
• Assurer le soutien des équipes opérationnelles pour définir les meilleures solutions pour des clients spécifiques.
• Accompagner l’intégration dans des environnements variés (serveurs cloud, sur site, embarqué, smartphones).

Job description

IDEMIA Public Security is recruiting outstanding researchers, to enrich and strengthen its teams. The objective is to cover all aspects of scientific research, from data collection, modeling, implementation to the publication of articles or patents. The methods used are bayesian methods, machine learning, deep learning (CNN, GAN...), and all methods used in computer vision for still images and optimized automated video analysis.

Key Missions

The mission will consist of :

• The study and development of new state-of-the-art algorithms
• Optimization of the algorithms
• Performance measurement and analysis
• Technology watch and analysis of the state of the art of research
• Expertise to analyze problems encountered in the field, and win benchmarks
• Support to operational teams to define the best customized solutions for specific customers
• Support to integration in environments as diverse as professional servers in the cloud or on-premises, embedded devices, or smartphones

The scope of application will depend on the candidate's previous experience and potential opportunities within IDEMIA Public Security. We welcome people with varying degrees of experience and skills: newcomers will be mentored. Profile description

• Education: PhD or Engineering School.
• First significant experience in image processing, computer vision, deep learning
• Strong background in mathematics, data analysis
• Proficiency with python. Experience with C/C++ will be a plus
• Ability to handle large amounts of data and work in a research environment, i.e. in an unfamiliar field
• Knowledge of biometrics will be a plus
