IDEMIA Public Security is seeking a highly qualified algorithm researcher to design, implement and optimize robust, secure and scalable algorithms for biometric and security applications in Courbevoie, France.

The role requires deep learning, computer vision and strong mathematics expertise, plus experience with large data volumes and PyTorch. Fluency in English and proactive research collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Significant experience in image processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
Strong background in mathematics, data analysis, C, Python, and PyTorch.
Ability to process large volumes of data and work in a research environment, including exploring unknown domains.
Knowledge of biometrics or document analysis would be considered a plus.

Responsabilités

Designs, implements, improves and optimizes statistically robust, efficient, secure and scalable algorithms.
Adapts the algorithms to improve system and customer experience, to create added value for customers, and to win external benchmarks.
Develops test strategies and methodologies to evaluate new or competing algorithms.
Presents algorithms and results for internal community challenges.
Stays up-to-date on latest state of the art research and algorithm development methodologies.
Provides support to solution design, implementation, customization and operations.
Closes proactively the loop with operational data/logs to ensure the algorithms are fully effective in operations.
Leads a defined study with guidance of more experienced researchers.
