Job summary

Alfa Point in France is seeking a mid–senior engineer with Laravel/PHP expertise to develop and maintain robust web applications. You will collaborate with frontend developers, designers and product managers to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Strong problem-solving and English communication are essential, and you will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The role emphasizes code quality, security best practices, and active participation in reviews and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Proven experience building web applications with Laravel and PHP.
• Deep understanding of the Laravel and PHP ecosystems.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of engineering best practices, including Git and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in English.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
