Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with Infrastructure & DevOps experience to join a France-based, remote-friendly team. You will own critical applications, design scalable architectures, and lead CI/CD and monitoring initiatives while maintaining production systems.

You will spend ~70% on software development and 30% on infrastructure, uptime, and security, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver reliable, data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development and related ICT domains.
• Strong hands-on PHP and Laravel production experience; PHP 8.4 and Laravel 12 preferred.
• Experience with API design, data integrations, PostgreSQL, and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with Pest, PHPUnit, PHPStan, and Laravel Pint is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a remote environment with English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain PHP/Laravel applications.
• Architect APIs, data exchanges, and integrations with internal systems.
• Maintain automated testing, static analysis, and code quality checks.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Gitea; streamline releases.
• Lead code reviews, provide technical guidance, and support other developers.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for production issues.
• Administer Linux-based infrastructure including Proxmox, Ceph, ZFS, and containers.
• Maintain platform operations for PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Gitea, Icinga, Grafana, Loki.
• Ensure security, backups, recovery procedures, and capacity planning.
• Document architecture, configurations, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
