Job summary

Jobgether in France seeks a Senior Game Designer to lead core gameplay and meta systems for large-scale mobile titles. You will drive progression, in-game economies, rewards, and balancing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship features end-to-end.

You will apply data-driven design, run hypothesis testing, and leverage AI-enabled workflows to enhance research, prototyping, and documentation. This is a fully remote opportunity within a creative product focus.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years as a Game Designer on mobile projects (F2P, casual, or mid-core).
• Experience contributing to large-scale game projects and complex design systems.
• Strong product thinking: why a feature matters to players and the product.
• Portfolio showcasing games and projects you contributed to.
• Strong understanding of core and meta loops, progression, and retention.
• Familiar with AI tools to support research, ideation, prototyping, and docs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve core gameplay and meta systems.
• Define and optimize progression systems, in-game economies, rewards, and balance.
• Build meaningful connections between game systems for cohesive gameplay.
• Create, maintain, and update GDDs and feature specifications.
• Lead features from concept to launch and performance analysis.
• Develop design hypotheses and participate in A/B testing to improve player experience.
• Use analytics to evaluate performance and guide design decisions.
• Collaborate with Producers, Developers, UI/UX, Analysts, Artists, and others.
• Review delivered features to ensure alignment with the design intent.
• Use AI tools for research, prototyping, documentation, and analysis.
