Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Character Concept Artist (Stylized Games) for a fully remote role based in France. You will shape character personalities, silhouettes, and visual identities for production-ready concepts across game development and co-development projects.

You will collaborate with Art Directors, 3D teams, and Animators to ensure designs translate into engaging, readable assets across cameras and gameplay contexts. A strong portfolio and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Character Concept Artist or similar role.
• Portfolio showing stylized character design and storytelling.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, silhouettes, color and costume design.
• Ability to translate concepts into production-ready assets.
• Proficiency with Photoshop or Procreate and related tools.
• Fluent English communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design appealing stylized characters with distinctive silhouettes and visual identity.
• Convey personality, emotion, and narrative through design.
• Create thumbnails, sketches, variations, and expression sheets.
• Prepare production-ready turnarounds and callouts for 3D artists.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, 3DArtists, Animators, and Designers.
• Ensure concepts translate effectively into game-ready assets.
