Voodoo in Paris seeks a seasoned Game Designer who loves RPGs and mobile live operations to craft the next hit. You will own design pipelines, balance systems, and drive features from concept to data-driven iteration, collaborating with UI/UX, engineering, and product teams.

With 5+ years in games and at least 3 years in design, you bring a player-first mindset, strong English communication, and a knack for hacking gameplay to surprise and delight millions of players.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the gaming industry and at least 3 years as a game designer.
• Experience working on mobile games, F2P or RPG.
• Experience in designing LiveOps for a live product is a huge plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Creative and hacker mindset with strong attention to gameplay details.
• Ability to deconstruct and analyze mobile game mechanics.

Responsabilités

• Define a clear, cohesive design pipeline.
• Pitch and implement big features to the team, deconstructing them into smaller components.
• Own game balancing, pace, feel.
• Back up ideas with data points and analysis.
• Analyze mobile game mechanics and player behavior.
• Contribute to UI, UX, game design, logic, and performance as needed.
• Fine-tune balancing, pacing, and feel.
• Benchmark the market to stay ahead of trends.
• Create playable prototypes individually and in teams.
