Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an experienced Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training) for a remote, hourly contract. You will analyze real-world network and endpoint security scenarios, review security cases for root causes, and classify incidents to improve AI-driven security evaluation datasets.

You will also craft clear explanations of security issues and business impact. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in security roles, familiarity with firewalls, EDR, IAM, SIEMs, and cloud security

Qualifications

• 2+ years in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security.
• Familiar with firewalls, EDR, email security, IAM, SIEMs.
• Understanding of security controls at scale.
• Clear communication of technical findings in plain language.
• Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across enterprise environments.
• Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to determine root causes and failure modes.
• Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on data.
• Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets for AI systems.
• Provide clear, structured explanations of security issues, attack chains, and business impact.
