Role emphasizes independent, asynchronous work on task-based assignments with flexible hours and potential for ongoing engagements. Strong SOC fundamentals and SIEM familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations.
• Familiar with SIEM platforms, alert triage processes and investigation workflows.
• Able to distinguish genuine signals from noise and false positives.
• Clear, structured written communication and remote independence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic SOC incident and alert scenarios to assess what's happening and why it matters.
• Classify alert severity, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions.
• Review detection logic, investigation workflows, and triage methodologies.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs to ensure they reflect how real analysts work in practice.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI reason through security incidents more effectively.
• Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments — on your schedule.
