Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training) to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems on real-world vulnerability management scenarios. This remote hourly contract role offers 10–40 hours per week and requires hands-on experience with CVEs, patch cycles, and risk prioritization.

You will analyze vulnerability reports, classify severity, review remediation decisions, and generate data to train AI systems to distinguish real-world risk from theoretical risk.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security.
• Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications.
• Classify severity, impact, exploitability, and remediation strategies.
• Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios.
• Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and improve AI systems.
• Apply your real-world experience to help AI understand the difference between theoretical risk and what actually matters in production.
