Job summary

Jobgether, partnering with a company, seeks a Risk & Compliance Specialist – Payment based in France. You will own payment risk and compliance across multiple markets for subscription SaaS products, designing a unified risk framework for Europe, the US, and beyond.

You will collaborate with legal, product, data, and payment teams to prevent fraud, manage disputes, and ensure PSP compliance. This role offers flexible remote or hybrid options across Europe, including Lausanne, with strong autonomy

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in payment risk or related fields.
• Experience with subscription SaaS, e-commerce, PSPs, fintech, card networks or payment schemes is a plus.
• Fluent French and strong English (B2+) for international PSPs and networks.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize payment fraud controls across PSPs and markets.
• Manage chargebacks and disputes with a focus on improving billing journeys and communications.
• Ensure compliance with Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal rules and network requirements.
• Represent the business in risk reviews with payment providers and manage reserve discussions.
• Define and validate compliant European and US checkout standards for pricing transparency, consent, renewals, and cancellations.
• Establish risk standards for new merchants and markets during expansion.
• Maintain risk dashboards and playbooks; drive data-driven improvements.
• Build and monitor AI agents to automate dispute and compliance tasks.
