Keet is seeking a Product Engineering Lead in France to guide API and frontend teams for a global peer-to-peer messaging and video-calling product. You will shape technical strategy, drive architecture decisions, and partner with product leadership while maintaining high engineering standards.

The role emphasizes decentralization, local-first design, privacy, speed, and scale. You will report to the CTO and mentor leaders, with significant ownership over how solutions are built and delivered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineers delivering consumer-facing products.
• Strong product sense and ability to identify high-value opportunities.
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript and React.
• Understanding of distributed/local-first systems including offline-first operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead API and frontend teams, ensure delivery momentum.
• Set engineering standards for performance, reliability, and API design.
• Own technical design and API boundaries between core and frontend.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate roadmaps into initiatives.
• Mentor engineering leads and raise team execution capabilities.
• Contribute technically when needed while enabling greater team ownership.
