Job summary

Tether is seeking a Product Engineering Lead to drive Keet's API and frontend teams, reporting to the CTO and collaborating with product. The role blends engineering leadership (≈70%) with product partnership (≈30%), focused on distributed, local-first systems built on Holepunch's P2P stack.

You will mentor leaders, ensure high engineering standards, and help shape a product roadmap that scales to a billion users while maintaining end-to-end security and privacy.

Qualifications

• Lead Keet API and frontend teams ensuring delivery and quality.
• Partner with product managers to translate roadmap into runnable work.
• Provide engineering leadership with a distributed, local-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Run the API and frontend teams day to day, unblock and ship features.
• Set a high engineering bar for performance, reliability, and APIs.
• Own the technical design of features and API surface between Keet and app.
• Collaborate with deep tech teams on reviews, design, and engine touches.
