CoderPad is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the EMEA Engineering team in France (remote). You will design, build, and ship features across our full stack, taking ownership of complex technical problems end to end and raising the engineering bar for the EMEA team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior or lead-level ownership.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Ruby, Node.js), a modern frontend framework (ideally React), and SQL.
• Solid experience designing scalable, reliable systems and conducting thorough code reviews.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a distributed, remote-first environment.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to ship faster — code generation, agentic workflows, scripting/automation, or building internal tooling on top of LLMs.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop new full-stack features (React/TypeScript frontend, Java, Node.js, or Ruby backend).
• Use AI coding assistants as a core part of your workflow to accelerate delivery and automate boilerplate.
• Contribute to architectural and technical design decisions within the team.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Deploy and monitor features in production (GitLab, AWS, Kubernetes).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Partner with Product and other teams to scope, prioritise, and deliver impactful work.
