Lever, Inc. is seeking a Video Game LQA Tester based in France to ensure localization quality and a polished player experience. You will review in-game text for linguistic accuracy, identify language issues, and log bugs, collaborating with global teams in a remote setting.

This remote contract role is full-time, about 40 hours per week, with rolling 3-month terms and exposure to international localization workflows and gaming terminology. Native-language fluency plus strong English required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience in localization quality assurance.
• Native-level fluency in the target language.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Excellent attention to detail in reviewing language, terminology, grammar, and consistency.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools.
• Ability to follow detailed testing procedures and guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills for independent work.
• Clear and professional written communication.
• Genuine enthusiasm for video games and gaming terminology.

Responsabilités

• Perform linguistic quality assurance testing on localized video game content.
• Review in-game text for linguistic, grammatical, contextual, and consistency issues.
• Identify language-related defects and assess impact on player experience.
• Log bugs accurately in bug-tracking systems.
