Virtuos France in Paris (Cergy) seeks a QA leader to guide multiple QA teams across the full development lifecycle, establishing testing guidelines and training junior and senior QA Leads while serving as a bridge between production, engineering and QA on key projects.

Location: Paris studio (Cergy, Parc Saint-Christophe). Remote work is possible; relocation support is provided. You will lead QA strategy and champion best practices, ensuring high-quality deliverables across domains.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience in a QA Leadership role in the game industry.
• At least 9+ years quality assurance experience.
• Proven track record of shipped (AAA) games on multiple platforms in a leadership role.
• Project and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodology and software (JIRA / TTP, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent knowledge of QA tools covering the development pipeline.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Working knowledge of SCRUM and Agile practices.
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Strong videogames knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Be the strong voice of QA in production and client meetings; independently define and drive QA strategy for a large project.
• Lead a pair of QA Teams in Paris within an international environment.
• Champion QA best practices across the full development lifecycle.
• Spend time hands-on providing leadership by example.
• Assist in growth and development of team members through trainings, reviews, and evaluations.
• Work with producers and stakeholders to define testing plans and processes (embedded Dev QA and external General QA).
• Provide hands-on leadership to ensure quality of deliverables and testing coverage.
• Proactively contribute to development and deployment of QA tools.
• Ensure excellent communication and teamwork within development and QA teams and across disciplines.
• Stay updated on marketplace trends regarding QA practices, tools, and processes.
