Altrove is seeking a procurement-focused team member to handle purchasing, supplier coordination, and logistics from Gentilly or fully remote. The role emphasizes a get-things-done attitude and collaboration via Slack in a fast-growing startup environment.

Ideal candidates have purchasing experience, chemistry knowledge, fluency in English and French, and the ability to manage supplier relations and approvals. Remote work is acceptable, with 6-month CDD and part-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or a related field.
• Chemistry knowledge or curiosity to explore a new field.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Familiarity with managing suppliers and delivery follow-ups.
• Ability to push back on suppliers.
• Remote work is acceptable; location is flexible.

Responsabilités

• Procurement & ordering: order lab consumables, chemicals, and equipment; get quotes; negotiate prices; payment of providers.
• Logistics: track orders through delivery, manage shipments (including international), resolve delays; vet new suppliers.
• Admin: upload invoices on banking platform; chase for compliant invoices; other admin tasks as required.
