Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS Group seeks an Operations Support Engineer to join the Development team. The role is remote within the EU, with the first assignment on-site with a major client’s IT team.

You will ensure system stability, security, and performance, provide second-level support, and coordinate with DevSecOps for deployments and enhancements across middleware and integration platforms. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years in IT operations or application/system support, including 2 years in L2 support.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned frameworks and change/release-management processes.
• Excellent understanding of ITIL service management processes.
• Proficiency with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and container orchestration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and configuration-management tools.
• Knowledge of APIs, middleware, and integration technologies.
• Excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational maintenance and continuity of the system after deployment to Operations.
• Provide second-level support to incidents, problems and service requests per SLAs.
• Perform maintenance activities to sustain operability and security baselines.
• Monitor system health and performance; coordinate with DevSecOps for deployments and optimisations.
• Collaborate with DBAs and architects for configuration management and change control.
• Participate in change and release management, including rollback planning and testing.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and knowledge-base documentation.
• Provide operational support for middleware and integration components.
