European Dynamics is seeking an Operations Support Engineer to join the Development team and work remotely within the EU, with on-site collaboration with a major client's IT team. The role emphasizes maintaining stable, secure, and high-performing systems, plus handling L2 incidents and deployment readiness.

Candidates should have a strong ITIL background, Linux/Unix and container experience, familiarity with CI/CD and API/middleware environments, and excellent English skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline with at least 5 years in IT.
• At least 3 years in IT operations or application/system support, incl. 2 years in L2 support.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned processes and change/release management.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL service management: Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Event, Knowledge.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, container orchestration and observability stacks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration-management tools.
• Knowledge of APIs, middleware, OAuth2/OIDC/SAML, web infra, and content management.
• Experience with monitoring, backups, recovery, patching and hardening.
• ITIL Foundation or higher and Linux administration are assets.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure operational maintenance and continuity after go-live to keep systems stable, secure and performant.
• Provide second-level support by analyzing incidents and service requests per SLAs.
• Perform corrective, adaptive, preventive and perfective maintenance.
• Monitor system health via observability tools; handle alerts and coordinate with DevSecOps for deployments.
• Collaborate with DBAs, Architects and Operational teams for configuration and change control.
• Participate in change and release management; ensure deployment readiness and testing.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews and maintain runbooks and knowledge bases.
• Provide operational support for middleware, gateways, data transformation, IAM, and web content platforms.
