Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a fully remote consulting assignment. The 3-month initial mission, renewable based on business needs, starts ASAP. You will lead engineering, balance technical depth with people leadership, and align tech decisions with product priorities.

You'll work closely with product and business stakeholders to set a technical direction, improve delivery, and ensure scalable, reliable systems while staying hands-on when needed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior engineering leadership role.
• Strong software engineering background with Python, Ruby, Elixir or Golang.
• Proven ability to manage teams and deliver complex projects.
• Ability to translate business priorities into technical execution.
• Fluent French and strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the engineering roadmap aligned with product priorities.
• Lead, mentor and support engineers; set priorities; remove blockers.
• Make architectural decisions focused on scalability and reliability.
