Pragmatike is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to take ownership of its engineering function on a consulting basis for a 3-month initial mission, with an ASAP start. Qualifications

• Significant experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
• Fluent French and strong English communication.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Hands-on contributor when deeper technical input is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the engineering roadmap in line with product and business priorities.
• Lead, mentor and support engineers, set priorities, remove blockers and help the team perform at its best.
• Make and challenge architectural decisions with a focus on scalability, reliability and maintainability.
• Deliver complex technical projects from planning through execution.
• Translate requirements into clear technical objectives with stakeholders.
• Establish and improve development standards and ways of working across the engineering organization.
• Stay technically close to the team and contribute directly when needed.
• Evaluate new technologies across Cloud, AI, Blockchain and other emerging technologies.
• Improve engineering processes, team performance and delivery quality as the company scales.
