In Tandem is seeking an Analytics Engineer (Finance & Modeling) to own metrics, reporting and forecasting across OurFamilyWizard, Cozi, FamilyWall and Custody Navigator. You’ll build robust models in dbt and leverage Databricks to deliver scalable, testable insights for finance leadership.

You will work with AI-assisted tooling, implement versioned metrics, and partner with a small team to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and actionable business guidance for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data science, BI engineering or advanced analytics.
• Statistical modeling shipped into a business process: forecasting, cohort analysis, or propensity.
• Experience measuring lift from price changes or growth experiments.
• Experience with subscription metrics: ARR/MRR, renewal, churn, LTV/CAC, or cohort revenue.
• Strong SQL and dimensional modeling; designed marts, not just queried them.
• Python and Git as daily habits.

Responsabilités

• Define and own finance metrics like ARR, renewal rate, churn, and LTV/CAC with tests and documentation.
• Automate recurring finance reports and move dashboards toward scheduled delivery.
• Reconcile transactions across stores, processors, subscriptions and ledgers with automated checks.
• Forecast subscriber revenue and renewal projections to feed CFO forecasting and board reporting.
• Ship models as dbt tables with tests and lineage in Unity Catalog.
