In Tandem is seeking an Analytics Engineer (Finance & Modeling) to own metrics, reporting and reconciliation for multiple brands. You will turn subscription and transaction data into defensible numbers, build forecast models, and enable an automated finance analytics layer.

You’ll work with a live dbt project on Databricks with a star-schema finance mart; contribute to AI-driven questions that finance can ask directly; collaborate across four brands in a small team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data science, BI engineering or advanced analytics.
• Experience shipping statistical models into a business process such as forecasting, survival or cohort analysis.
• Experience measuring impact of pricing or growth experiments; ability to interpret results for finance stakeholders.
• Subscription metrics you’ve built and defended to finance: ARR/MRR, renewal, churn, LTV/CAC, or cohort revenue.
• Strong SQL and dimensional data modeling; experience building marts.

Responsabilités

• Governed metrics: define finance metrics like ARR, renewal rate, churn; versioned in dbt and documented in Unity Catalog; integrate with agent queries.
• Move recurring finance pack into marimo, retire Tableau views, and automate monthly reports.
• Reconcile transactions across app stores, processors, subscriptions and ledgers with automated checks and escalation.
• Forecasting: cohort revenue projection and renewal/retention forecasting; inform CFO forecasts and board reporting.
• Models ship as scored tables in dbt/Unity Catalog with tests and lineage; avoid notebooks; enable reproducibility.
