Job summary

Alignerr is seeking AI Security Analysts to stress-test frontier models, probe vulnerabilities and evaluate adversarial scenarios. This remote, hourly contract role offers 10–40 hours per week and the chance to shape the safety of cutting-edge AI systems.

You will analyze security scenarios, investigate prompt injections, data leakage, and abuse vectors, and apply threat modeling to evolving AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Background in cybersecurity, information security, or a closely related technical field.
• Strong understanding of threat modeling for AI/LLM systems.
• Familiar with adversarial attack surfaces: prompt injection, data leakage, API abuse, and beyond.
• Analytical and precise; you dig into complex systems and don’t stop until you understand how they break.
• Curious about how AI models are built, deployed, and exploited.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without hand-holding.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AI and LLM security scenarios to understand model behavior under adversarial or unexpected conditions.
• Investigate prompt injection attacks, data leakage risks, model abuse vectors, and system misuse cases.
• Classify security vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations based on impact and likelihood.
• Apply threat modeling frameworks to emerging AI technologies and deployment environments.
• Evaluate and improve AI system behavior to align with security best practices.
• Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule.
