Jobtailor is seeking a senior sales leader to drive revenue in the AURA region and manage the Lyon-based team. You will lead multi-faceted sales cycles, develop business with engineering consultancies, installers, and the B2B network, and sell energy conversion products including inverters and rectifier-chargers.

Travel and hybrid work from Lyon are expected. The role demands 8 years in technical BD, 3 years of team leadership, and a strong English level (B2).

Qualifications

• Educational background in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or mechanical and production engineering.
• 8 years of experience in business development in technical environments, ideally with an installer
• 3 years of experience leading and operationally managing sales teams
• English: B2 level, written and spoken
• Proficiency with the Salesforce CRM platform
• Willingness to travel to meet customers and partners
• Ability to work in B2B environments across industrial, commercial, distribution, and data center sectors

Responsabilités

• Develop revenue in the AURA region through identified leads, specification activities with engineering consultancies, installers, and the B2B network
• Sell technical projects, which represent 70% of the business
• Lead and monitor technical proposals as a project manager, taking into account the broader context of customer demand
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying customer needs through to closing the deal
• Lead and operationally manage the Lyon-based sales team, currently consisting of 3 people and expected to grow to 6 people in the medium term
• Develop business in the AURA region and subsequently lead the sales team at the Lyon office
• Sell technical energy conversion products and solutions, including inverters, rectifier-chargers, AES, and STS
• Travel to meet customers and partners, alongside working from the Lyon office and remotely
• Report to the Regional Sales Manager and join the Power Conversion team
