The City of Natchez is seeking a Recreation & Tennis Center Coordinator to provide welcoming front-desk service and administrative support for the Parks & Recreation Department in Natchez, MS.

This role handles reservations, registrations, merchandise transactions, and facility upkeep while contributing to community events and programs. Flexibility for evenings and weekends supports league play and tournaments.

Qualifications

• Experience in recreation, customer service, or administrative support is preferred.
• Must be able to learn and effectively use recreation management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with program registrations and process purchase orders.
• Manage court reservations, check-ins, and front-desk support using reservation software.
• Process transactions for concessions, merchandise, and program fees.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting tennis/pickleball center; report maintenance issues.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding additional staff for facilities and programs.
• Coordinate leagues, tournaments, and special events as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by Parks & Recreation leadership.
