City of Natchez is seeking a Cement Finisher / Laborer to join the Public Works team. This full-time role involves operating light and heavy equipment used in maintenance, construction, and related skilled manual work.

Responsibilities include finishing concrete surfaces, patching and forming sidewalks, loading and moving materials, and performing routine equipment maintenance under supervision. CDL is a plus; 18+ years old and passing background checks required.

Qualifications

• Education/experience combination acceptable; knowledge of construction equipment and tools; must be at least 18; background check and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Finish surface of poured concrete, patch and repair, align forms for sidewalks, curbs, etc.
• Perform physical tasks loading/unloading and moving supplies, materials and heavy equipment.
• Perform simple equipment or operative duties under limited supervision; CDL a plus.
• Perform construction/maintenance/repair work on streets, highways, buildings or facilities.
