Job summary

Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer in France. This internship focuses on inspecting and probing silicon chips as nanofabrication scales from 2-inch to 4-inch wafers, improving alignment speed and reliability.

You will design and test tools, learn automatic alignment procedures, and document results while contributing to the nanofabrication team. The role starts January 2027 and lasts 4–6 months, offering practical experience in a cutting-edge

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Licence Pro in Microtechnology, Test or Nanofabrication.
• Available for a 4–5 month internship, ideally starting in January 2027.
• Proficient in English.
• Some knowledge of clean room environments and microfabrication is plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and test tools and procedures that speed up chip alignment and improve reliability.
• Learn and apply automatic alignment procedures of the visual inspection microscope and probe station.
• Test the complete workflow and ensure alignment works correctly; verify data flows to repository.
