Joko is seeking a Legal Counsel, Product & Privacy to join our Legal team in Paris or remotely. You will work with Product, Tech and business teams to ensure our product, including Juno, complies with privacy, AI, consumer and platform rules from PRD to launch, reporting to the Head of Legal Maya.

You bring 4–6 years in data protection, experience with product or privacy counsel, and fluency in French and English. Master’s in IP/IT or data protection law is expected; CIPP/E is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of data protection experience in a law firm or in-house.
• Experience reading PRDs and data flows to identify issues.
• Familiar with AI regulation and advising on AI products.
• Fluency in French and English; CIPP/E or equivalent a plus.
• Master’s degree in IP/IT or data protection law from a leading French law school; Bar admission a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead GDPR programme across Europe with the DPO.
• Ensure compliance with non-EU privacy laws as teams grow.
• Advise on product, AI Act, and regulator needs for Juno.
• Maintain terms of use, terms of sale, cashback/terms in collaboration with product teams.
• Monitor banking and payments regulation per new markets.
