Joko (Station F) in Paris is seeking a full‑time Legal Counsel to support its national and international expansion. The role requires a Master’s in private law and 2–5 years of experience as a lawyer, ideally from a top law firm, with strong contract, GDPR, and corporate law skills.

Fluency in French and English is essential, and remote-friendly Paris-based work is offered. You will partner with the Head of Legal to draft contracts, manage GDPR compliance, handle corporate matters including

• Master's degree from a Tier 1 law university specializing in private law (bar admission is an advantage).
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably with background in a top law firm.
• Demonstrated knowledge in contract negotiation, GDPR/personal data management, or corporate law.
• Fluent in both written and spoken French and English.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Legal to ensure compliance with relevant domestic and international laws.
• Draft and review contracts across all business operations including employees, freelancers, merchants, and terms of service.
• Manage GDPR compliance, privacy by design, and data treatment registers alongside the DPO and Product team.
• Oversee corporate law matters, including BSPCE allocations, board meetings, shareholder assemblies, and cap table management.
• Coordinate intellectual property management procedures and support international expansion, particularly in the US.
