European Payments Initiative is seeking a Product Designer to shape Europe’s interoperable payment experiences. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Research, and Compliance to design fast, secure, and accessible journeys for Wero across markets.

You will translate complex multi-party requirements into intuitive interfaces, contribute to design systems, and drive user-centered decisions in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer in a product-led environment.
• Strong background in end-to-end product design with advanced UI design skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Ability to balance craft, speed, and pragmatism in a real-world product environment.
• Ability to maintain clear, well-structured design artifacts and documentation.
• Fluent in English (CEFR C1/C2); French, German, Dutch a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conceive, design, and deliver implementable UI flows for interoperable payments experiences.
• Present and defend design recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Act as a design reference for Interoperability across teams.
• Translate complex interoperability challenges into clear, usable interfaces.
• Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Contribute to inclusive and accessible design practices.
