European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) is seeking a Procurement Specialist within the Resources Department. You will manage portfolios across works, supplies and services, while ensuring procurement best practices and regulatory compliance.

The role involves market analysis, supplier sourcing, contract negotiation and performance monitoring to deliver value and efficiency across the Organisation. Secondment arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant professional procurement experience.
• Very good knowledge of one of the Council of Europe’s official languages (English/French) and good knowledge of the other.
• Citizen of a Council of Europe member State.
• Knowledge of public procurement regulations.
• Ability to use IT tools and procurement platforms.

Responsabilités

• Define procurement strategies and monitor their implementation.
• Advise internal departments on procurement procedures and budgets.
• Prepare and draft administrative documents for contracts and ensure selection criteria.
• Ensure compliance with tendering procedures and select service providers.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure value for money.
