Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Procurement Manager for Services to lead a team of 8 to 12 buyers across multiple sites. The role focuses on supporting Maintenance and ALM projects, collaborating with PPM, Business leaders, and Operations to deploy Procurement strategies aligned with business goals.

You will position Procurement as a key contributor to offer competitiveness, project performance, and sustainable growth of the Services business, while driving supplier performance and continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Significant experience in Procurement, Project Procurement or Supply Chain, ideally within railway, transportation, industrial or Services sectors.
• Proven experience in people management, ideally within a multi-site environment.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, negotiation, supplier management and contractual matters.
• Ability to operate effectively in a project-driven, industrial and customer-oriented environment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to position Procurement as a contributor to Business performance.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across Business, Projects, Operations, Finance, Engineering and Procurement.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage, develop and empower teams.
• Ability to challenge existing practices and support organizational transformation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within an international and matrix organization.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement team across several sites, aligning priorities with Business needs.
• Act as key Procurement interface for Services Business leaders, Project teams and Operations.
• Define and implement the Procurement strategy for the Services perimeter.
• Develop sourcing strategies to meet operational and financial objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity, supply-chain security and supplier performance enhancement.
• Ensure execution of supplier commitments to support projects and operations.
