Institut Curie - Research Center in France seeks a Process Development specialist for cell and gene therapy. You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cell- and gene-based therapies and ensure translational feasibility, joining the Process Development group at CellAction.

The role requires 2–5 years in process development, aseptic mammalian culture experience (T-cells preferred), and knowledge of CQAs and regulatory GMP standards. English fluency is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in biotechnology, biochemical engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of process development experience in cell therapy, gene therapy, or drug development
• Aseptic mammalian cell culture experience; T-cell culture preferred
• Knowledge of analytical characterization and CQAs (titer, purity, potency, sterility)

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cell and gene therapies, including viral and non-viral approaches
• Transfer pre-GMP processes into robust, reproducible workflows for clinical manufacturing
• Develop analytical methods and monitor CPPs and CQAs to ensure product quality
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, troubleshoot, and support continuous process improvement
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure GMP and regulatory compliance
• Identify innovative approaches to improve process efficiency and maintain technology watch in the field of cell and gene therapy
