The Curie Institute, Saint-Cloud, is seeking a Laboratory Scientist to join the CellAction manufacturing team focusing on cell and gene therapies. You will develop and optimize pre-GMP processes and ensure translational feasibility under GMP guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in biotechnology and have 2–5 years in process development, with experience in aseptic mammalian cell culture and gene editing. This full-time, fixed-term contract runs 12 months, with renewal options.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in process development (cell therapy, gene therapy, or drug development)
• Experience in aseptic mammalian cell culture, with preference for primary T-cell culture and cell expansion systems
• Knowledge of analytical characterization and CQAs for cell and gene therapy products, including titer, purity, potency, and sterility
• Hands-on experience with site-specific gene-editing technologies (CRISPR-Cas) desirable

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cell and gene therapies, including viral/non-viral vectors and genome editing
• Transfer pre-GMP processes into robust, reproducible workflows for clinical manufacturing
• Develop analytical methods and monitor CPPs and CQAs to ensure product quality
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, troubleshoot, and support continuous process improvement
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure GMP and regulatory compliance
• Identify innovative approaches to improve process efficiency and maintain technology watch in the field
